: Project Manager for Lighting Retrofit Project Overview: The Project Manager for a lighting retrofit project, particularly with experience in Etihad ESCO procedures, plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of lighting retrofit projects. This position requires a deep understanding of lighting systems, energy efficiency, and project management principles. The focus is on brown field projects, involving post-tender surveys, lux measurements, and efficient coordination with various stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- 1. Project Planning and Initiation:
- *Develop a comprehensive project plan, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Conduct an initial assessment of existing lighting systems and infrastructure.
- Compliance with Etihad ESCO Procedures:
- *Ensure strict adherence to Etihad ESCO procedures and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on any procedural changes or updates from Etihad ESCO and incorporate them into the project plan.
- 2. Stakeholder Coordination:
- *Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, suppliers, and Etihad ESCO representatives.
- *Facilitate regular communication to ensure everyone is aligned with project goals and timelines.
- 3. Post-Tender Surveys:
- *Oversee and conduct post-tender surveys to gather detailed information about existing lighting systems, identifying areas for improvement and retrofit opportunities.
- *Work closely with technical teams to analyze survey data and develop retrofit strategies.
- 4. Lux Measurements:
- *Implement lux measurements to assess and verify the lighting levels in various areas before and after the retrofit.
- *Ensure that lux measurements comply with industry standards and project specifications.
- 5. Budget and Resource Management:
- *Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and resources are allocated efficiently.
- *Monitor expenditures and report on financial status regularly.
- 6. Quality Control and Assurance:
- *Establish and implement quality control processes to ensure that the retrofit meets industry standards and client expectations.
- *Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- 7. Documentation and Reporting:
- *Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other relevant records.
- *Prepare and present regular project updates to key stakeholders.
- 8. Risk Management:
- *Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during the project.
- *Proactively address issues to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- 9. Project Closure:
- *Ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to the operational phase.
- *Conduct a comprehensive project review, capturing lessons learned for future improvements.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in lighting retrofit projects.
- Familiarity with Etihad ESCO procedures and guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of lighting systems, energy efficiency, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- MEP: 5 years (Required)
