Job Description

We are seeking a qualified MEP Procurement Engineer to manage all procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of UAE market dynamics, vendor sourcing, and compliance with local regulations.
he ideal candidate will ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Review project specifications, MEP drawings, and BOQs to determine procurement needs. repair, float, and manage RFQs/RFPs for suppliers and subcontractors in the UAE and internationally. Evaluate vendor quotations technically and commercially; prepare comparison sheets and recommendations. Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance with contract terms. Liaise with engineering, planning, and site teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues related to delays or non-conformance. Contract Management: Administer supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both short-term needs and long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills:



Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role, specifically within the MEP Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP materials, technical specifications, and the local supplier market. Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software. must be in UAE immediate start required. Job Type: Full-time
