Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review MEP project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to identify procurement requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers/subcontractors for MEP materials and services, ensuring quality and cost competitiveness. Prepare RFQs, compare quotations technically and commercially, and negotiate terms with vendors. Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on timely delivery, ensuring compliance with project schedules. Maintain supplier database and establish long-term relationships with reliable vendors. Coordinate with engineering, planning, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely procurement. Review material submittals for compliance with project specifications. Track and monitor inventory levels for long-lead MEP items and critical components. Resolve any delivery, quality, or payment issues with suppliers in coordination with relevant departments. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 5-8 years of experience in MEP procurement within the construction industry (UAE/GCC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, and low current systems. Familiarity with local and international MEP suppliers and manufacturers. Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
