Job Summary

The MEP Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing maintenance activities to ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely. This role includes supervising technicians, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Supervision & Team Management

Lead, supervise, and guide MEP technicians and contractors. Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed on time. Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety procedures.

2. Maintenance & Operations

Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pumps, motors, generators, and other MEP assets. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ensure all works comply with safety standards and technical specifications.

3. Planning & Documentation

Prepare maintenance schedules and job plans. Maintain logs, checklists, daily reports, and equipment records. Coordinate with the storekeeper for spare parts and material requirements.

4. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with tenants, clients, and management regarding maintenance requests. Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor their performance. Attend meetings and provide progress updates.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and company HSE policies. Inspect job sites for potential hazards and take corrective actions. Ensure technicians use proper PPE and follow safe work methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering. Minimum 4-6 years of experience in MEP maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing networks, pumps, and control systems. Experience in FM industry preferred (residential, commercial, industrial). Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Good communication and leadership skills.
