Mott MacDonald is looking for a skilled MEP Inspector to assist our supervision team on major housing and infrastructure projects within Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key responsibilities/duties:

Review and comment on Contractor's designs and material submissions Inspect work in progress for conformance to specifications, approved drawings and method statements Review, monitor and report on progress of works Check plant, equipment and materials delivered and verify against approved submissions Check measurement sheets for the work done and check Contractor's payment certificates Coordinate with the Client and Contractor Liaise with other Authorities Assert with and coordinate forward planning Liaise with all parties for site safety Ensure prompt exchange of correspondence and approvals Ensure accuracy and completeness of records

Essential Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Experience with contractor or consultancy experience Experience of working on large housing scheme with associated infrastructure work Proven track-record within a similar role ideally within a consultancy Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
