Job Description

An electrical engineering graduate with 1-3 yrs experience in the UAE fit-out industry. Posession of a driving license would be an added advantage.

Decent knowledge about the MEP fit-out schematics in UAE Must be able to handle the projects in full, from the scratch till the end, managing multifaceted streams of MEP Foolproof taking care of a project from its inception, including but not limted to sample sourcing, material procurement, drawing and design management etc Should be competent enough to draft technical emails to the consultants, landlord and client, as and when needed, maintaining the decorum Foresee critical concerns in a project and highlight them well beyond the milestones to avoid any delays Report to the immediate line manager for any issues that might need high level intervention and ensure that the projects happen in a seamless fashion, at all times Liaise with the local authority consultants, arrange their timely site visits to ensure that the codes are conformed to, and conclude the final inspections without any hassles Proper coordination amongst all the stakeholders involved and thereby keep last minute confusions at bay Prepare weekly progress reports to be sent to the client and bi-monthly inspection report for the purpose of timely invoice submissions Work in tandem with the project coordinators to maintain the log of close-out documents, right from the start of the project. Assist him in securing the relevant files from the third party suppliers as well. Analyses project bottlenecks and taking immediate action Prepare the work program well within the timeline specified and align the manpower resources accordingly to strictly follow the dates, at any cost Assist the design team in preparing the as-built drawings Ensuring materials received are in accordance with quantity and quality. Monitor and control materials release from suppliers. Monitor and ensure strict adherence to the production schedule. Assure quality standards are met and report any deviations from the standards and direct the corrective actions for different production units. Verify, coordinate and participate (as needed) in site surveys before proceeding with production. while keeping updated records to validate the project drawings. Monitor material usage and ensure the least waste overall production processes
