Key Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in MEP estimation within the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of:
Electrical systems
Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems
HVAC systems
Plumbing and Drainage works
Strong experience in quantity take-off and cost estimation.
Ability to read and analyze drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
Good understanding of local market pricing and supplier coordination.
Proficient in Excel, Auto CAD, and estimation software/tools.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimations based on drawings and specifications.
Prepare and submit competitive bids within deadlines, in coordination with the tendering and engineering team, and report directly to the Tender Manager.
Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather and evaluate quotations.
Ensure cost-effective solutions and value engineering where applicable.
