Duties & Responsibilities :
Review and analyze mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings, specifications, tender documents, and scope of work.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical services.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs using drawings, site surveys, and project documents.
Request, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
Coordinate with construction managers, project engineers, and clients to clarify scope, requirements, and technical queries.
Prepare cost comparison sheets, rate build-ups, and estimation breakdowns.
Assist in preparing tender proposals, budgets, and technical submissions for bidding.
Update cost databases, vendor price lists, and estimation records for future reference.
Identify material, manpower, equipment, and subcontracting requirements for project costing.
Evaluate risks, value engineering opportunities, and alternative proposals to ensure cost efficiency.
Support post-tender activities including negotiation, award, and handing over to project execution teams.
Track market trends and pricing to maintain competitive and accurate estimates.
Ensure all estimations comply with project specifications, local regulations, and company standards.
