Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

MEP Estimator

with experience in

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing estimation

for

fit-out and construction projects

. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and pricing based on project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents for MEP works. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support pricing accuracy. Analyze project risks, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for technical and commercial clarifications. Prepare and submit complete tender documents within deadlines. Assist in post-tender negotiations and value engineering discussions. Maintain a database of prices, suppliers, and subcontractors for future projects. Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and estimation reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum

2 years of UAE experience

in MEP estimation (fit-out or construction projects). Strong understanding of MEP systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

(e.g., Candy, PlanSwift, or similar). Knowledge of

local market rates, suppliers, and standards

. Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with

design & build or turnkey fit-out projects

.
