Job Description

Review architectural and engineering plans to determine scope and quantities of MEP systems Estimate material quantities, labour hours and equipment costs using estimation software and market rates/regional pricing data Prepare and submit competitive bids for tenders ensuring compliance with client requirements Collaborate with Project Manager, engineer and procurement teams to align cost estimates with project goals Obtain quotations, evaluate offers and define scope of work for MEP sub-contractors Maintain estimation records, update pricing database and provide detailed cost breakdowns. Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications. Evaluates offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes. Develops bids for construction projects. Schedules meetings with clients, site managers, and staff. Navigates and understands building codes. Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required. Monitors construction processes. Stays up to date with safety codes and improvements in construction. Ability to navigate specifications and plans Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects Ability to handle multiple assignments at once Knowledge of the latest building codes Close attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven Track record
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 5-10 years experience in MEP estimation (4 years UAE) Strong Analytical, planning and decision making skills 3-8 years experience in MEP drafting especially in high-rise projects Excellent communication and leadership qualities
Skills

Knowledge of UAE specific standards (DEWA, ADDC, DMCC, etc) is highly valued Technical knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting and electrical systems Proficiency in AutoCad, estimation software, Revit MEP, BIM Tools and MS Office

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
