Mep Estimation Engineer
Job Description
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP estimation within the construction or contracting industry.
Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify MEP scope and requirements.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, electrical).
Coordinate with procurement and technical teams to obtain supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Participate in pre-tender meetings, site visits, and technical evaluations.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals in response to RFPs and tenders.
Maintain updated estimation tools, templates, and cost databases.
