MEP Estimator
to joinimmediately.
Job Requirements:
Review and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents. Prepare cost estimates for mechanical (HVAC, fire protection), electrical (power, lighting, ELV), and plumbing (water supply, drainage) systems. Conduct quantity take-offs using drawings and project specifications. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers to get the latest price quotes. Analyze labor, material, and equipment requirements and compute costs accordingly. Compare and evaluate different material and equipment options to optimize costs. Identify and quantify cost risks or scope gaps. Prepare tender submissions, pricing sheets, and technical/commercial proposals. Assist in value engineering exercises as required. Attend tender clarification meetings and liaise with consultants, clients, or project managers. Maintain and update a database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors. Support the procurement and project teams with estimation data and BOQs during execution. Review post-tender clarifications and advise on final commercial submissions. Prepare cost comparisons between budget and actual as part of cost control and project handover.
