Job Description

We are looking for a MEP Estimation Engineer for our Joinery / Fit out Division who has minimum 6 years of similar experience. Should have knowledge in HVAC , ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING Estimation. Job Role:

• Will be reporting to the Senior Estimator

• Prepare Material take off Bill of Quantity and prepare cost estimation for the projects and submit them to the tender committee

• Thoroughly follow up material costs / man hours cost Collect all relevant/ needed information from the Production Estimator, Design Engineer, Tender Manager, and/or from site visit Ensure gathered date and budget information is maintained and knowledge is transferred to project management and commercial department

• Checks and makes sure that all the corresponding documents of inquiry to be tendered like Drawings, Specifications, Addendums, Bill of Quantities, Relevant Standards etc. are received in order

• Prepares the C.I.F. (Contract Information Form), Final Estimates, Requisition for Material Procurement etc. in case of award of contract and also summarize all the information for disseminating in the kick-off meeting Advices management of any cost-effective measures / actions which could be helpful to cut down costs, giving a competitive edge to cut down the cost & price and price levels

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

• With minimum of 6 years of experience Strong background in Basic Accounting, Contracts, Tender Bidding and Project Management

• Must be proficient in MS Excel and Word Must be detail oriented and a team player Excellent English communication skills
