MEP ESTIMATION ENGINEER
We are one the leading Interior Fit-out company in UAE. Currently we are looking for an MEP Estimation Engineer who can join us in our Dubai Office.
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for MEP fit-out projects, including material quantities, labor requirements, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Conduct thorough analysis and review of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the bid management team to develop competitive bids for MEP fit-out projects. Ensure accuracy and completeness of bid documents, including pricing schedules, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost breakdowns.
Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate favorable terms. Evaluate supplier proposals and select the most suitable options based on cost, quality, and delivery schedules.
Value Engineering: Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize cost efficiencies without compromising project quality. Propose alternative materials, systems, or construction methods to reduce costs while maintaining performance standards.
Cost Control: Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction phase. Identify potential cost overruns or deviations from the initial estimates and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed estimation reports, including cost breakdowns, assumptions, and justifications. Generate accurate and timely reports for project stakeholders, management, and clients as required.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely exchange of information. Provide support and expertise during project meetings and presentations.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to MEP fit-out estimation. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through self-learning and professional development opportunities.
Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in UAE.
