Job Description

Job Summary:

The MEP Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for MEP projects, including material takeoff, labor calculations, and cost analysis. This includes working closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure estimates meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Takeoff:

- Accurately calculate material quantities from design drawings and specifications.

- Ensure estimates align with project scope and requirements.

2. Cost Estimation:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.

- Analyze and compare different design options to optimize costs.

3. Bid Preparation:

- Assist in preparing bids for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to finalize bid submissions.

4. Cost Analysis:

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for different MEP systems and components.

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

5. Collaboration:

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure estimates meet project requirements.

- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to clarify estimate details.

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.

- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in MEP estimation, construction, or related field.

- Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and Microsoft Office.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of MEP design principles and construction methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

UAE Driving license (Required)
