Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

MEP Engineer

to join our engineering and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, or industrial projects. You will work closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure systems are integrated, code-compliant, cost-effective, and meet the required performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning:

Develop and review MEP designs, schematics, and layouts. Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and regulations.

Project Coordination:

Collaborate with internal and external teams during all project phases. Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and equipment specifications. Conduct site visits to monitor installation, testing, and commissioning.

Technical Oversight:

Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy analysis. Troubleshoot issues in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare technical reports, BOQs, tender documents, and maintenance manuals. Maintain project documentation and drawings up-to-date. Provide progress reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of MEP engineering experience in construction.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MEP design software. Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems. Familiarity with local and international building codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC).
