Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer with experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee MEP design, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to integrate MEP systems efficiently. Prepare detailed MEP designs, layouts, and schematics for high-rise buildings. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and installation conflicts. Ensure all MEP works comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Supervise and monitor on-site MEP installations, ensuring quality and timely execution. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met. Prepare progress reports, documentation, and as-built drawings. Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues during construction and post-handover.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering. Minimum [X] years of experience in MEP engineering for high-rise residential or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. Knowledge of international and local codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, Dubai Municipality, etc.)
