Role Summary
Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Authorities Engineer in Dubai, UAE to manage and coordinate all technical submissions, permits, and approvals from Dubai authorities such as Dubai Municipality, RTA, DDA, Dubai Holding, Trakhees, DEWA, and Civil Defense. This role ensures real estate development projects comply with all local codes, standards, and regulations while facilitating smooth communication between internal teams and government bodies.

What You'll Do
Coordinate and manage submission, follow-up, and approval of project documents with relevant authorities.
Review design documents to ensure compliance with local building codes and authority guidelines.
Act as liaison between design, planning, engineering teams and government bodies to resolve technical queries.
Track the status of authority submissions and ensure timely renewal of approvals.
Provide stakeholders with regular reports on approval progress and risks.
Attend meetings and site inspections with regulatory authorities.
Maintain knowledge of Dubai codes, regulations, and approval processes.
Assist in documentation for project handover and completion certificates.
Identify risks in approval processes and implement mitigation measures.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction.
Proven expertise in authority coordination and design approvals in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of authority processes including Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, Nakheel, RTA, DEWA, and Civil Defense.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and authority e-portals.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic, Urdu, or Hindi is an advantage.
