Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing plans and designs based on owner specifications and design guidelines

• Conducting research on current industry trends and technology advances to identify new materials, processes, and products that can improve efficiency or safety in design projects
• Evaluating existing structures for safety, soundness, and compliance with building codes
• Preparing construction proposals for owner
• Supervising contractors to ensure that work follows specifications and meets deadlines
• Drafting contracts for a fit out project and ensuring that owner/municipality requirements are met throughout the process
• Inspecting work sites for code compliance and safety hazards
• Ensuring that all plans meet regulatory requirements
• Consulting with owner on design needs and providing recommendations

Requirements:

• Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years Experience in a related fields of specifications
• Strong Team leadership and Management Skills
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if the situation demands
• Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment
• Must be well familiar with computer applications and capable of generating & presenting maintenance reports
• UAE driving license is preferable but applicant should be inside UAE to attend site interview.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Education:
