Job Summary:
We are looking for a
skilled MEP Electrician with expertise in handling large, armored cables
for commercial and industrial projects. The candidate should have strong experience in
installation, termination, and maintenance of armored cables
as well as general electrical works within MEP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and terminate
large armored power cables
for electrical distribution systems.
Perform cable routing, glanding, and dressing as per technical and safety standards.
Carry out electrical installation work for MEP projects, including wiring, switchgear, and panels.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications accurately.
Follow all
HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) guidelines
on-site.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an
Electrician or MEP Electrician
, with a strong focus on armored cable installation.
Knowledge of
armored cable termination, glanding, and proper dressing
techniques.
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and MEP layouts.
Hands-on experience with tools and instruments for electrical works.
Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
Minimum
2-3 years' experience
in armored cable work (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
