About the Role

We're seeking a

BIM professional who can model directly from point clouds

--not just a generic Revit modeler. You will convert

RCP/RCS/E57

scans into accurate

as-built Revit models (LOD 300-500)

across facades, architectural, structural, and MEP systems, aligned to project coordinate systems and deliverable standards (IFC/COBie).

Key Responsibilities

Import, manage, and segment

point clouds

; set up

shared coordinates

(survey point, project base point). Extract and model

walls, slabs, columns, beams, facades, openings, mullions

, and

MEP

(pipes/ducts/cable trays) from scans. Generate

2D deliverables

: plans, sections, elevations, facade orthos; publish

IFC/COBie

. Apply

QA/QC

: check model deviations vs cloud and report

mean / P95

distance (target 5-10 mm). Follow BEP/Naming/Worksets; manage

large datasets

and model performance. Coordinate with survey team (control, registration), engineers, and client reviewers. Produce

deviation maps

, markups, and concise

method statements

for each package.
Must-Have Skills

Autodesk Revit

(advanced) +

Autodesk ReCap

; confident modeling

from point cloud

(not tracing 2D). Proven projects converting

TLS/UAV

point clouds into

RVT LOD 300-500

. Understanding of

registration basics

(targets, ICP, constraints) and

coordinate systems

. Ability to

fit planes/cylinders

, infer geometry, and keep models lightweight & parametric. Solid

QA/QC

mindset: tolerances, spot-checks, section cuts, and deviation reporting. Clear English communication; organized file/version control.

Qualifications

3-7 years total BIM experience;

2+ years scan-to-BIM

with portfolio evidence. Diploma/Degree in Architecture/Civil/Mechanical or equivalent practical track record.
