Job Description
We are currently looking for a skilled
MEP Draughtsman
to join our technical team.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Drainage, and Firefighting systems in compliance with project specifications and standards. Develop coordination drawings integrating all MEP services to resolve clashes and ensure constructability. Modify and update drawings based on engineers' instructions, site conditions, and consultant/client comments. Prepare builders' work drawings and as-built drawings for submission. Ensure all drawings are clear, accurate, and aligned with architectural and structural layouts. Liaise with engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to incorporate practical inputs into drawings. Maintain drawing records, revisions, and ensure timely submission of drawings for approvals. Assist in preparing material take-offs from drawings where required.
Requirements:
Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman in construction or contracting companies. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Solid understanding of MEP services, standards, and coordination requirements. Ability to interpret consultant drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: BD400.000 - BD600.000 per month
