responsible for preparing accurate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) shop drawings in line with project requirements, authority standards, and site conditions. The role requires strong technical drafting skills and coordination with engineering and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
MEP shop drawings
as per approved design, specifications, and project standards.
Develop
elevation and section drawings
for MEP systems to ensure proper coordination and clarity.
Perform
duct size calculations
in coordination with MEP engineers and project requirements.
Prepare accurate
Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP)
incorporating MEP services and coordination details.
Revise and update drawings based on
consultant, client, and site feedback
.
Ensure drawings comply with
local authority regulations and project specifications
.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other services drawings to avoid clashes.
Maintain proper
drawing logs, revisions, and document control
.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(MEP drafting mandatory).
Strong understanding of
MEP systems, symbols, standards, and coordination practices
.
Ability to read and interpret
MEP, architectural, and structural drawings
.
Knowledge of
duct sizing principles and HVAC layouts
.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant field
.
Relevant experience
as an MEP Draftsman in construction or fit-out projects preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
