Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings. Interpret architectural and engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs. Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and client feedback. Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, etc.). Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions. Assist in material take-offs and quantity calculations when required. Support project teams during construction and approval stages.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Proven experience as a Draftsman in the UAE (preferred). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory); knowledge of

Revit, BIM, or SketchUp

is an advantage. Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and standards in the UAE. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience

Minimum

5-7 years

of relevant drafting experience (depending on discipline). Experience in UAE construction projects is highly preferred.
