Job Description

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Draftsman creates detailed technical drawings and plans for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings and construction projects. Use CAD software to translate engineering designs into accurate and comprehensive blueprints. This role requires a strong understanding of MEP systems, the ability to interpret engineering specifications, and excellent drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Creating MEP Drawings:

Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and plans for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Using CAD Software:

Utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software to create and modify drawings.

Collaborating with Teams:

Working with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate designs, and ensure accuracy.

Reviewing and Revising Drawings:

Ensuring drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications.

Maintaining Documentation:

Keeping drawings organized, updated, and readily accessible.

Conducting Site Visits:

Visiting construction sites to gather data, verify existing conditions, and resolve design discrepancies.

Quality Control:

Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all drawings.

Providing Technical Support:

Assisting the engineering team with MEP-related tasks and technical queries.
Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:

Strong knowledge of MEP systems and drafting principles.

CAD Software Expertise:

Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant drafting software.

Attention to Detail:

Meticulous in creating accurate and error-free drawings.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve design issues and discrepancies.

Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and design modifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
