Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman with strong Revit expertise to produce accurate, coordinated MEP drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems) for construction and permit submissions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed BIM models and shop drawings, coordinating across disciplines, and maintaining drawing quality in line with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 2D/3D MEP drawings and Revit models for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and electrical systems. Generate coordinated shop drawings, sections, and details using Revit and AutoCAD. Work closely with MEP engineers and BIM teams to ensure model accuracy and coordination. Implement BIM execution plans (BEP), naming conventions, and LOD standards. Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts using Navisworks (if required). Prepare as-built drawings, schematic diagrams, and installation layouts. Maintain document control for revisions and versioning of drawings and models. Ensure compliance with local regulations, DM/DCD guidelines, and project specifications. Attend coordination meetings and incorporate consultant/contractor feedback.

Required Skills and Experience:

2-5+ years of experience as an MEP Draftsman in the construction industry. Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP (essential). Solid knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks (preferred), and Microsoft Office. Experience with MEP systems drafting in residential, commercial, or mixed-use buildings. Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP plans. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), DCD, or GCC standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Drafting or Engineering. Revit MEP certification or formal training (preferred).

Preferred:

Experience working on BIM Level 2 projects.
