. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and coordinated MEP drawings for commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with local standards and site-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
MEP shop drawings
(Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) using AutoCAD and Revit.
Review architectural and structural drawings and coordinate MEP designs to avoid clashes.
Develop coordinated MEP drawings for construction and installation, including sections and details.
Modify and update designs based on engineer/consultant feedback or site conditions.
Create
as-built drawings
upon project completion.
Maintain drawing logs, revisions, and drawing registers.
Collaborate closely with site engineers, project managers, and consultants.
Ensure compliance with
(BIM knowledge is a plus).
Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, DM, Civil Defence, etc.).
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with
MEP contracting firms
in the UAE.
