Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
2D and 3D drawings
for
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)
systems using AutoCAD.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to develop
coordinated MEP shop drawings
based on IFC and design drawings.
Ensure that all drawings are compliant with local and international construction standards and company drafting standards.
Review and update drawings as per
site instructions
,
RFIs
, and
design changes
.
Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural teams to avoid clashes.
Maintain organized drawing files, including revisions and historical records.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
Provide technical support to site teams and resolve drawing-related issues in coordination with engineers.
Attend coordination meetings and contribute to efficient MEP planning and execution.
Candidate Requirements:
Diploma in Draftsmanship
or a related technical discipline.
5 to 7 years
of drafting experience in
GCC countries
, with a focus on large-scale construction or marine infrastructure projects.
Advanced proficiency in
AutoCAD 2D and 3D
; knowledge of
Revit MEP
