Prepare accurate MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) based on design drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with MEP engineers and architects to incorporate changes and resolve design conflicts.
Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, redlines, and revisions.
Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
Maintain drawing documentation and ensure proper version control.
Support the site team with technical drawings during installation.
Participate in design coordination meetings as needed.
QUALIFICATION:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman in construction or consultancy firms.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; knowledge of
Revit, Navisworks
, or
BIM tools
is an advantage.
Familiarity with MEP systems (HVAC, electrical layouts, water supply, drainage, fire protection).
Strong understanding of technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards.
Experience with coordination drawings and clash detection.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
