to join our engineering consulting team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for building services projects in compliance with design requirements, authority regulations, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop coordinated MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Translate design concepts and MEP system requirements into detailed CAD drawings.
Ensure MEP drawings are compliant with relevant authority codes and standards (e.g., ADDC, ADM, Civil Defense).
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design clashes.
Modify and revise drawings as per site instructions, design changes, or consultant/client comments.
Maintain organized drawing records and document control procedures.
Attend coordination meetings when required.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably within the UAE.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.
Familiarity with local authority requirements and submission processes.
Ability to read and understand MEP design drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
