Preparing rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
Preparing clear, complete and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for MEP projects.
Utilizing knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
Developing and maintaining technical drawings, schematics, and models for mechanical, electrical, water and plumbing systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date design and engineering documentation.
Checking and correcting work prepared by others to conform to standards, specifications, and design requirements.
Developing 2D drawings of design specifications for mechanical equipment and components to assist in planning and production.
Using CAD programs to combine schematics and design data into accurate 3D models.
Analyzing design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials and coordinate with engineers to resolve any errors.
