The Role

Our client, is a Main Contractor and part of a larger "Established and stable" organization. They will be responsible for construction projects in UAE, building high-rise mixed-use developments and residential communities comprising of villas, townhouses, leisure and retail facilities. They currently have an exciting opportunity and are seeking a Dubai based MEP Director to join their company. The MEP Director is fully responsible to successfully manage, execute, complete and handover multiple MEP projects related to all of the projects within the portfolio. The MEP Director will oversee the entire MEP involvement, from initial design through construction, commissioning and handover. They will take leadership of the internal MEP team and oversee the selected MEP Contractors responsible for the installation and commissioning of all MEP related services to the buildings and projects. Ensuring the contractors meet the required deadline for completion, provide a high quality service, adhering to all statutory compliance (QHSE and required RERA/Gov legislation).



Requirements

Degree in Engineering o Must have managed projects from start to completion and a proven track record on completing major building and high-rise projects o Ideally will have worked for a top tier or tier 2 contracting company o Experience in the field of MEP, ideally for a main contractor or MEP Contractor. o Experience overseeing large teams of blue collar workers. Direct and indirect. o Well versed with Project Management Programs o Strong knowledge and understanding of QHSE o Commercial acumen o Must possess strong Leadership and Communication Skills This is a very exciting opportunity that may well lead to further promotions, in return our client offers a competitive salary, with additional family benefit within a stable and reputable company that will continue to grow for the foreseeable future.
