- Drafting and preparation of technical drawings based on rough sketches, specification, and calculations from MEP engineers.
- Developing detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
- Coordinating with and consulting other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and developments in MEP designs.
- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience as MEP CAD Engineer / Draftsman
Must have background in design consulting companies working for gulf projects
Expert in using Autocad software
Detail-oriented and organized
Good communication skills
Additional Information
Immediate joiners will be preferred!
