Mep Bim Engineer
Job Description
Overview The MEP BIM Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM principles and practices, as well as experience with MEP design and drafting. The MEP BIM Engineer will work closely with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that BIM is used effectively throughout the design and construction process. Responsibilities Develop and implement BIM standards and workflows for MEP systems Create 3D models of MEP systems using Revit or other BIM software Generate 2D drawings and documentation from 3D models Coordinate MEP design with other disciplines Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to use BIM to improve project efficiency and quality Stay up-to-date on the latest BIM technologies and trends Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering 2+ years of experience in MEP design and drafting Experience with BIM software, such as Revit Strong understanding of BIM principles and practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
