Oversee and be accountable for the quality for MENA region for DH business unit follow Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures Maintain facility quality certifications (including ISO 9001) and conduct internal audits assess and improve service and delivery processes - continuous improvement RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide hands-on leadership at the site-level to implement quality systems and drive continuous improvement. Managerial skills are essential for this position.
  • Drive improvements in first-time quality via a reduction in internal and supplier non-conformances, and customer escapes. Drive down the cost of poor quality (scrap, rework, warranty).
  • Maintain facility quality certifications (including ISO 9001) and conduct internal audits.
  • Ensure that company policies and procedures are being always enforced and adhered to.
  • Provide continual evaluation of the group\'s processes and methods, to ensure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision of employee job execution, to include training, performance evaluation and employee relations.
  • Continually monitor and control inspection operations to ensure compliance with applicable quality control documents.
  • Ensure accurate records such as traceability, process control, functional test, demonstrations, etc., are maintained.
  • Ensure test functions are performed in a manner consistent with applicable requirements and quality procedures.
  • Maintain approved supplier program with ongoing performance assessment and audits of new and existing suppliers.
  • Effectively utilize the authority to acquire corrective action through management.
  • Drive a culture of quality in the organization.
  • Manage the collection of KPIs and business-critical metrics and develop additional metrics to improve transparency on the process and business performance.
  • Perform Nonconformance investigation, root cause analysis, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions efforts. Drive resolution of customer issues and non-conformances.
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality activities.
  • Maintain inspection and measuring equipment; perform or arrange for calibration of equipment; and maintain equipment calibration records.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers as needed.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in facility safety and quality.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
  • Qualifications: BS in Engineering or Higher
  • Quality System Lead Auditor Training and certification
  • Six Sigma training and preferably certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) from a reputed organization
  • Supervisory/Managerial experience
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience, including progressive training and experience in quality assurance and control techniques, problem-solving skills, product reliability, and test lab procedures plus supervisory and managerial responsibilities.
