1 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
1.1 REPORTS TO : Business Development Officer 1.2 RESPONSIBLE FOR : Institutional Sale
1.3 LIAISES WITH : Pharmacy Manager, Procurement Team, Institutional sales team, Finance Dept. , Accounts Dept. Central ware house team, Management, Venders, Suppliers
JOB SUMMARY Responsible to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s pharmaceutical and medical products and maximize sales growth by acting as the key link between our company and healthcare professionals or customers with an aim to meet the sales target. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assess clients’ needs and present suitable promoted products.
  • Liaise with and persuade targeted with customers for utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
  • Provide product information and deliver product samples.
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits.
  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message.
  • Build positive trust relationships to influence targeted group in the decision-making process
  • Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with latest medical data.
  • Promote products ethically and within compliance based on company’s sales process and approved marketing strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers across multiple settings.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein, as may be assigned or delegated.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree Pharmacy

  • Preferred Education: Master’s degree in marketing management

  • Proven work experience as a Pharmaceutical Rep or in Medical Sales

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills

  • Excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge in Arabic is desirable.

  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
