Medical Officer (Claims Processing)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and clinically knowledgeable Medical Officer to join our Claims team. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing outpatient and inpatient claims, utilizing your medical expertise to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant adjudication.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and assess medical claims for clinical accuracy, eligibility, and policy alignment.
• Apply strong clinical judgment to investigate discrepancies and make sound decisions.
• Interact with healthcare providers, TPA (Third-Party Administrator) networks, and internal teams for claim clarifications.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing within strict deadlines.
• Maintain proficiency in specialized claims management systems and software.
• Handle a high-volume workload, prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements (Essential):

• Medical Qualification: MBBS, MD, or an equivalent para-medical degree.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
• Skills:
• Excellent clinical judgment and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• High proficiency in computer systems and claims processing software.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications (A Plus):

• Prior experience working with or for a Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
• Possession of a Quick Coding Certification, such as CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
