Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Coder based in Al Ain. The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Daily tasks include reviewing and analyzing patient health information, ensuring data accuracy, and working closely with healthcare providers to clarify information in medical records. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and aiding in the optimization of hospital reimbursement processes through precise coding.
Qualifications
Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills 4 years.
Knowledge of RHIT and Health Information Management
Proficiency in Medical Terminology
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is a plus
An associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field is preferred
