We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Medical Coder
to join healthcare team in Al Ain City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assigning CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements, and supporting the revenue cycle process.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical records and documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes
Ensure coding compliance with UAE health authority regulations (e.g., DOH/HAAD)
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to clarify documentation and coding issues
Submit coded claims to insurance companies and assist in resolving coding-related denials
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification (AAPC, AHIMA, or HAAD-licensed preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in the UAE
Proficiency in using medical coding software and electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and coding systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
