The ideal candidate will have an intimate understanding of the day-to-day operations of a medical center and have substantial demonstrated experience in providing leadership and direction to medical practitioners in the development and implementation of clinical objectives, protocols, and policy.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical center to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and organizational standards.
Monitor the performance of medical staff and conduct assessments of staff to identify areas of improvement
Oversee the maintenance of the medical center, including facilities and equipment, to prevent disruption due to neglect or obsolescence.
Ensure that adequate supplies and materials are available to support daily operations.
Develop strategic plans for the long term success of the medical center and identify any areas requiring improvement or further development.
Liaise with all departments to enable the organization to provide quality care in a cost-effective manner.
Monitor financial performance and ensure budget constraints are strictly adhered to.
Prerequisites:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field
5 years of experience in a medical center setting
Ability to think critically and make strategic decisions
Ability to lead and manage effectively
Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations
Familiar with financial and operational management systems and software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
