We are currently recruiting for a Medical Board Consultant to be based out of their Dubai office.
Purpose-
To review, assess, evaluate and manage the preapproval request with good medical and coding knowledge and meeting the departmental objective.
Requirements-
- High level of working knowledge of Healthcare regulations in UAE, BAH, OMN & QAT.
- Basic knowledge of DRG and CPT/ICD is a must.
- Sound knowledge of regulations from regulatory authority.
- Able to contribute significantly to the departmental savings.
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree holder.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preapproval department.
- Good CPT, ICD and DRG knowledge.
- Certification in Insurance in a plus.
- Certification in medical coding is an advantage.
