The client is a small community General Practice established for a number of years, which offers a welcoming, friendly environment based in Dubai, where they focus on improving health and that of your family

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
• Residency training in Psychiatry with a focus on pediatric psychiatry.
• Board certification in Psychiatry with a subspecialty in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from a recognized Western medical board (e.g., American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology).
• Valid and current DHA license for practicing as a Pediatric Psychiatrist in Dubai.
• Substantial experience as a Consultant Pediatric Psychiatrist, preferably in a Western healthcare setting.
• Expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
• In-depth understanding of child and adolescent development, behavior, and mental health issues.
• Ability to provide family-centered care and collaborate with parents and guardians in the treatment process.
• Collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals, psychologists, social workers, and educators.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with pediatric patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
• Understanding and appreciation of cultural nuances in a diverse setting like Dubai.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, especially in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Participation in or contributions to research activities and publications in the field of Pediatric Psychiatry.
• Leadership qualities for guiding and mentoring junior staff in the pediatric psychiatry department.
• Ability to handle psychiatric emergencies and crises involving children and adolescents.
