Job Description
- To build and maintain excellent relationships with external parties, institutes, government departments, and local media organizations
- Develop media communication products and press materials for awareness-raising, including drafting of media/press briefings and releases, distribution to the target groups and monitoring of the preparation of projects and programs; newsletters, e-news, videos and social media updates before major events with the right media partners, ensuring documents are posted in Philosophy House website and social media accounts
- Organize attendance of local media and photographers at yearly press conferences and Philosophy house events
- Planning, organizing, and participating in Philosophy house events and activities
- Promotion and maintenance of public information campaigns, and spreading of corporate advocacy materials for the yearly calendar events, engaging in outsourced events organizers and ensuring media follow-up to monitor media coverage, as needed
- To Coordinate with different departments such as Procurement, Marketing and Accounts, etc. to ensure effective and efficient logistic support to Philosophy House events
- Provide support and lead (where needed) in developing high quality communications content for external and internal use
- Act as the Delegation spokesperson and Media representation of the Philosophy House, building relations with the media and confidently delivering key messages to them and influential visitor groups, both verbally and in writing;
- Engage with journalists and public audiences via social media channels.
- Other tasks deemed appropriate by the Philosophy House Manager
