Job Description

Responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair mechanical equipment and workshop and optimize the performance of mechanical products, machinery, and equipment. They assist mechanical engineers in the selection of mechanical products, analyze performance results. Key Responsibilities:

• Performs inspections, preventive maintenance, and repair of plant equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Ensures the completion of the daily activities as defined by manager/engineer.
• Troubleshoots, installs, maintains, or undertakes repairing activities related to mechanical equipment.
• Performs periodical round of the whole plant when required and reports any abnormal situation to his/her manager. Solve the problems immediately when possible.
• Performs the maintenance of all machines' mechanical parts in the plant.
• Performs the maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Informs the shift leader upon completion in order to perform a test of the equipment and a tour in the working area. Gets a confirmation of work results.
• Follows standard safety procedures, and reports safety and environmental hazards to the shift supervisor; reads, understands, and applies information such as lockout/tagout procedures, safety rules, job hazard analysis, operating and maintenance instructions, permit to work and procedure manuals.
• Reports any unsafe situation observed in the plant to the manager or directly QHSE manager.
• Adheres to all HSEQ, Finance and Compliance policies and procedures

Skills and Personal Attributes

• An degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of mechanical process, plant maintenance
• Proficient in CMMS
• Attentive to details
• Equipment and Program Knowledge
• Basic Welding
• Forklift operation (optional)
• All health and safety knowledge required for the plant technical staff.
