Mechanical Technician

Job Description
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems.
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement equipment upgrades.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and systematically diagnose root causes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections performed.
Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
Assist in the installation of new mechanical systems and machinery.
Qualification Required
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanical technician. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. Hands-on experience with machine tools and maintenance techniques. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and mechanical measuring instruments. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong adherence to workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred Skills
Experience in industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or manufacturing machinery. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Familiarity with ISO 17025 calibration standards (if applicable).
