Mechanical Technician
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Candidate should possess a 3 Year Industrial Diploma in the mechanical field with 5 years of experience in GCC power plants.
Should be able to read, write, and understand Basic English + Arabic and/or Hindi and/or Urdu language to receive proper and clear instructions during the work.

Technical Skills & Capabilities:

Pumps (centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, etc.), compressors (reciprocating and rotary compressors), gas and steam turbines, and their alignment.
Valves and actuators (big & small valves, safety valves, control valves, check valves, etc.).
Pipe lines, fittings (metallic, PVC, GRP, etc.), steel structures, equipment (Drums, distillers, boilers, turbines, etc.)
Ability to understand drawings, P&I diagrams and/or Isometrics.
Ability to use and select proper tools, such as a grinding machine, torque wrench, spanner, etc., and to read precise measuring tools.
Experience in maintenance of the seawater intake equipment (Bar screen, Travelling band screen, and Sludge removal).
Ability to carry out proper and safe rigging operations.
Ability to lead a working team.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Ability to work in confined spaces (Boiler, Distiller, Culvert, etc.).
Ability to work at heights (On Scaffolding, chimneys, high equipment, etc.).
Basic knowledge of industrial safety and strict adherence to the safety rules.
