Company Overview:

We are a leading provider of mechanical maintenance and industrial services within the Oil & Gas sector, specializing in valve refurbishment, mechanical equipment maintenance, and field service support.

Job Purpose:

The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauling of valves and industrial equipment as per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain mechanical systems, especially industrial and safety valves (gate, globe, ball, control, etc.). Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and rotating equipment. Conduct disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of valves and mechanical components. Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company procedures. Collaborate with the maintenance team during shutdowns and turnaround projects. Prepare basic maintenance reports and support technical documentation. Follow QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines strictly.

Requirements:

Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. 5-7 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial maintenance (workshop or field). Strong hands-on experience in valve maintenance and mechanical repairs. Knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and alignment techniques. Understanding of safety procedures and permit-to-work systems. Ability to work in workshop and site environments. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

GCC (especially UAE) work experience. Experience in shutdowns / site projects. UAE driving license (advantage).
