Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in machinery and systems. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines or equipment. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve equipment performance. Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement and preventive maintenance initiatives. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Proven experience in a mechanical technician or similar role is preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals. Familiarity with tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
