We are hiring immediately for a Mechanical Technician based out of our Service & Repair Center - Jebel Ali \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:
- The Mechanical Technician will report to the Lead Technician and work on the Maintenance of Aggreko products in line with the production schedule, product quality, health and safety and cost targets.
- Mechanical assembly of Aggreko Manufacturing products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentation
- Troubleshooting/Diagnosis/Repair/Assembly/Overhaul/Refurb of Aggreko Products
- Assembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings
- Assembly & Sub-Assembly of fabricated components
- Mating and torquing of flange assemblies.
- Use of air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment and measuring equipment
- Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise
- Work in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider Manufacturing cross-functional teams where required.
- Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects and activities
- Maintaining work area in a safe and tidy working condition
- Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures
You\xe2\x80\x99ll have the following skills and experience:
- Experience Working in Gas and Diesel Engines and generators.
- NGG Experience Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems.
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal communication
- Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
