Educational Requirements:
Technician's degree in production or maintenance field.
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance as per job plans and supplier manuals.
Supervise and coordinate subcontracted work and determine work sequences and assignments.
Conduct or arrange training sessions in safety and maintenance procedures.
Troubleshoot complex equipment/system malfunctions.
Monitor predictive maintenance indicators.
Record and compile maintenance, test, inspection, and calibration data.
Manage spare parts inventory and usage.
Participate in root cause analysis and report safety/security incidents.
Train new and existing staff in line with GIMS technical and safety standards.
Provide first-response instructions during emergencies or site visits.
Enforce strict compliance with HSE&Q standards and lead incident investigations for corrective actions.
Skills & Competencies:
Fluency in English (speaking and writing)
Advanced computer proficiency
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to delegate tasks and ensure timely completion
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Physical stamina; ability to stand for extended periods
